Sponsors top up credits, then fund a project one of two ways: by adding budget to it directly, or by approving a token request a builder sent them. Allocations appear as claimable model budgets on each project page and are claimed first-come within sponsor-set caps.
Who can Claim Sponsored Tokens?
Any maintainer of a listed project. Create an account, list your repository, and claim the budgets allocated to your project.
Which models are covered?
Whatever the sponsor allows per project: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek and more. Maintainers choose which models fit their roadmap best.
Does it cost anything to be a builder?
No. Builders never pay. Sponsors fund all of the inference credits behind every project budget.
Do tokens expire?
Yes. An allocation a project hasn't claimed within one week (7 days) returns to the sponsor, so credits reach active projects instead of sitting idle.
